
The British Florist Association (or BFA) is available to provide help and support to florists, customers and press alike.
he main office is in the West Midlands and there are staff available to answer calls and enquires 24/7. It is the only trade support available for florists and is recognized both in Brussel and here in the UK. Nearly 6,500 florists are members of the BFA and as such it is very much the 'voice of the industry'. The BFA offers a number of services including commercial, training and is currently in the process of developing the EU's only masters degree is Floristry.
The BFA has a helpline based at the West Midlands office and it is staffed by a number of advisers who can answer queries from the public. It also holds regular meetings in various parts of the country that BFA members can attend free of charge. These meetings give the opportunity to discuss both business and design related topics. Conferences and competitions are also on the BFA agenda and are available for members of the association to attend and enter.
The association has a director's board and executives meet regularly to discuss issues and topics that arise.
